"Hypercrisis" is a fan-coined umbrella term that denotes plotlines (or arguably plotline, singular) running through a series of interconnected DC Comics stories beginning in 1990, many of them written by Grant Morrison in collaboration with other writers such as Geoff Johns.
(It is considered hard to understand.)
